Fraser’s Bridge in Glen Clunie, Scotland was built in 1752 to carry the old Caulfield military road over the Clunie Water to Fort George in the Scottish Highlands. The military roads where built by the British government in an attempt to maintain control of the region after the Jacobite rebellions in the first half of the 18th century.  I came across the bridge on my drive from St. Andrews to Loch Ness and knew that I had to paint it.

Fine art, giclée prints of this original painting are available in various sizes and framing options. They are professionally made using archival inks and fine art paper. The giclée method of fine art printing is superior to conventional printing processes, offering the finest reproduction quality possible; and a giclée print will last a lifetime with proper care.
